Benefits of Membership

$1,000 Level – Associate*

  • Free admission at all Louisiana State Museum facilities for two adults, plus children or grandchildren 17 and under.  Plus, free admission for up to four guests, when accompanied by an LMF member
  • First notice of all LMF sponsored special events at the Louisiana State Museum
  • Use of the Louisiana State Museum’s Historical Center
  • Invitation for two to the Annual Member’s Appreciation Dinner and Meeting
  • Listing on the Foundation’s quarterly newsletter, Annual Meeting Program, and LMF website
  • Preview of select exhibits and invitations to Foundation sponsored receptions

 $1,500 Level – Partner’s Circle

  • All the benefits of the $1,000 level plus (upon request) two tickets to one major LMF event in the same fiscal year

 $2,500 Level – Exhibitor’s Circle

  • All the benefits of the $1,500 plus a special State Museum behind-the-scenes tour of a featured collection or exhibit (upon request)

 $5,000 Level – Conservator’s Circle

  • All the benefits of the $2,500 level plus (upon request) complimentary use of a Louisiana State Museum facility for a special function for your company or organization (subject to security and maintenance fees)

 $10,000 Level – Heritage Society

  • All the benefits of the $5,000 level plus a Speaker’s bureau presentation by one of the museum’s curators at your company or organization or at the Museum for your employees or organization members (upon request at a mutually agreed upon time)

    • $250 Level – Bon Ami

  • Invitation for you and 1 guest to attend one Special Supporter’s reception
  • Listing in Quarterly newsletter and on website

* For individuals/couples who are age 40 or under there is a special Jr. Membership category of $500.

Please note: For federal income tax purposes, you can deduct as a charitable contribution the amount of your contribution less the value of any premiums that you receive. Depending on the level of your contribution, some of the items described above may have a premium value that if accepted will reduce the amount of your tax deduction. If you would prefer not to receive any or all of these premiums please inform us in writing stating which premiums you do not wish to receive or that you do not wish to receive any premiums, which would reduce the deductibility of your donation.
