Why We Were Founded

Founded in 1981, the Louisiana Museum Foundation was created as a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit to accept and administer grants and community donations on behalf of the Louisiana State Museum (LSM). As an agency of state government, the LSM is unable to accept and administer these donations for themselves.

What is the Louisiana State Museum
