Featuring the Art of Michalopolous

Featuring more than seventy works spanning from the early 1980s to the present, this exhibition explores the prolific forty-year career of James Michalopoulos, whose expressive, vibrant paintings celebrate and inspire efforts to preserve the vernacular architecture of New Orleans.

About Founders Ball

The Founders Ball is the annual fundraising gala benefiting the Louisiana Museum Foundation. Funds raised from this annual event support the creation and opening of prolific exhibitions such as in most recent years Creole New Orleans, Honey! The Art of Andrew Lamar Hopkins, Hunt Slonem: A Retrospective and Rodrigue: Before The Blue Dog, and will help fund related educational programming throughout the year long exhibition for all ages, from field trips for K-12 schools groups to adult education classes.
